Les Gilliam was designated the official “Oklahoma Balladeer”by the Oklahoma State Legislature in 1998.

The Boys of the Fort have been fortunate to be able to do shows with such country music greats as Gene Watson, T.G. Sheppard, Johnny Western, and Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers, just to name a few.
