Kenny Pruitt: Vocals, Fiddle & GuitarKenny started playing music while he was in the army. After his discharge he moved to Wichita, Kansas to work in construction. He played music on the weekends during the 60’s & 70’s. During this time he backed up or opened for such acts as; Gene Watson, Ed Bruce, Darrell McCall, Asleep at the Wheel, Little Jimmy Dickens, Joel Sonnier, Jimmy Hall, The Black wood Singers and others. Kenny quit playing music in 1980 to devote more time to his construction business. After retiring from the construction business in 2005, he decided to form a group to play Traditional County and Western Swing dance music featuring the pedal steel guitar, fiddle and piano. In order to help keep the cost down, he decided to custom pre-record a large portion of the sound. After setting up his own recording studio, he got together with former band member and long time friend, piano player Bob Brown and friend Curt Shoemaker on pedal steel guitar, and to date they have recorded approximately 160 backing tracks of custom dance music. At the dances live vocals and fiddle are added for a 10 piece dance band sound.
